Greetings reader,

My name is Dominick Bonny and I’m doing a short photo blog project on May 2011’s First Friday in downtown Wenatchee, Wa.

Wenatchee First Fridays promote the arts in Wenatchee Valley by featuring local artist, galleries and businesses that support the arts and local culture.

As a young man, just a little while out of college, I am trying to expand my horizons and educate my palate to the some of the finer things in life. I recently planted a garden. I shop at the farmer’s market - no longer subsisting on Kraft Mac N’ Cheese. These day I’m more likely to share a bottle of wine with friends rather than Keystone Light from the beer ‘fridge.

I’m growing up.

So in an effort to educate myself on art my friends and I going to go to many of the venues this Friday, May 6th, and I’m going to take pictures and write about my experience.

I will also stop for libations intermittently … And you can feel free to join me on my journey.

This weekend is the added bonus of it being Apple Blossom festival time too, which is the biggest festival of the year, so this weekend offers tons to see and do.
