By this point I only had time for one more stop. So I swung by the Museum to check out the crew put the finishing touches on the giant puppets for this year’s Apple Blossom Parade.

At this point I was running out of time so I beat feet up to McDee’s Art Center to check out some of the work by their featured artist - Lori Aylesworth from Leavenworth.

And here’s the most pleasant surprise of the night - a killer spread with bacon-wrapped water chestnuts that Nicole helped prepare for the art show/dance party. I was a happy boy…

After that it was on to one of my very favorite spots - Caffe Mela - to check out new art by Nicole Bishopp. Her work will be up in Mela all month and you can find her on Facebook here.
